With Casey Stoner back on a Honda it is no surprise Honda Australia is excited to once again be an official partner of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Honda has a long and successful history in motorcycle racing and Honda Australia is sure 2011 is going to be a fantastic year for Honda Racing.

Honda has always used their racing involvement as an important source for the creation of leading edge technologies used in the development of Honda motorcycles. Honda founder Soichiro Honda had a dream of producing an affordable mode of transport for the masses back in the late 50’s and simultaneously planned on taking a Honda team overseas to compete in the prestigious Isle of Man TT. Today Honda is one of the world’s top manufacturers of motorcycles and has throughout history, enjoyed countless wins in the racing arena.

This year at Phillip Island join Honda Australia in their marquee for trackside views and first class hospitality, attend the annual Champions Dinner for an up-close and personal view of the MotoGP or cheer for the Honda teams who are definitely tipped for success.

Honda is well represented in the premier class with Repsol Honda featuring home-grown Australian Casey Stoner, Spaniard Dani Pedrosa and Italian Andrea Dovizioso. San Carlo Honda Gresini with Hiroshi Aoyama and Marco Simoncelli, and LCR Honda with Toni Elias. Honda is also well represented with teams in all of the supporting classes.
