IVECO Trucks Australia has enjoyed its relationship with the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for the past 2 years. Now entering its 3rd year as the Naming Rights Sponsor for the event at Phillip Island, the relationship between IVECO worldwide and the MotoGP championship is stronger than ever. IVECO is the official commercial vehicles supplier to the MotoGP championship as well as being the official sponsor of the Yamaha Racing Team.
IVECO Trucks Australia also has a partnership with Australian rider Casey Stoner who is their brand Ambassador. Casey encapsulates the IVECO Can Do spirit and displays the values of the IVECO brand of commitment, performance, reliability and team spirit.
IVECO Trucks Australia locally designs, engineers and manufactures a broad range of light, medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The manufacturing base in Dandenong, Victoria was commissioned in 1952 under the International Harvester brand name and has produced more than 220,000 trucks and bus chassis. The Dandenong plant represents a major investment in the local truck and bus industry and employs more than 600 Australians. Overall, IVECO creates employment in Australia for thousands of people in related industries, from retailing operations to component suppliers.
