Catch-a-Coach
Forget petrol prices, parking costs and designated drivers. Just sit back, relax in 5-star coach comfort and be driven straight to the track and back again.
Coaches are available from the Melbourne CBD on Thursday – Sunday and from regional areas on Sunday only. One way and return trips are available – full details including timetables, pricing and booking procedures will be available in June.
All Melbourne city coaches depart from Federation Square, corner Flinders Street and Russell Street.
All Catch-a-Coach Services drop-off and pickup at Gate 3 at the circuit.

Return from 5pm$46 $41 Book Now A pre-booked wheelchair accessible bus will operate from Melbourne CBD (Federation Square) to Gate 3, departing at 7.30am Friday and 6:45am Saturday/Sunday of the event and returning each day. Phone bookings for this service are essential through Foxtix on 1800 100 030.
*There will be a 2% transaction fee for Credit Card and PayPal payments plus a delivery fee from $2.70 (depending on delivery option).
The last coach from Phillip Island will depart 6.30pm^ on Friday & Saturday and 6.00pm^ on Sunday from Gate 3. ^Departure times subject to change.
All Friday, Saturday and Sunday coaches arrive to and depart from the circuit at Gate 3. Thursday and Monday one-way coaches arrive to and depart from V-line Bus Stop, Thompson Avenue/Chapel St, Cowes, stopping at the circuit at Gate 1.
The Catch-a-Coach service is operated by Firefly Coaches Pty Ltd (ABN 14 004 864 251) which is an independent contractor to, and not an agent of, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. -
Airport Buses
Airport Bus Dandenong
Airport Bus Dandenong provides an express service from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to the Circuit and Cowes – full details including booking procedure, timetables and prices will be available in July.

Skybus
The Skybus operates at frequent intervals between Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Flinders St Station in the Melbourne CBD.
The Skybus can be taken to Flinders St Station to link up with services to the circuit:

Cleeland Bus Lines provide an express service to Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and the CBD from Cowes on Monday (post event). Full pricing and booking details will be available in July. -
Ferry Services
Interisland Ferries Stony Point to Cowes
Pedestrian Ferry duration only 30 minutes.

Train Services to Stony Point
Stony Point is the terminus point of the Stony Point suburban train line from Frankston.

Dandenong to Cowes
V-line operate a coach service from Dandenong Station to the Cowes, linking up with the Suburban train line to/from Southern Cross and Flinders Street.

Air Services
Charter Helicopter Flights
Charter helicopter flights from Melbourne direct to the Phillip Island Circuit can be booked through our chosen provider Professional Helicopter Services. Save time by beating the traffic and trying to find a park, let them drop you directly at the gate travel time is less than an hour.

The helipad at the circuit is located to the West of Gate 7.
Helicopter Landings
For those who wish to fly their own helicopter to the circuit, you must register through Professional Helicopter Services – full details will be available in July.
Charter Plane
Return flights to Phillip Island from Essendon Airport can be chartered through GAMair and cost $1012.00 (incl. GST) return based on a 6 seater plane.

Phillip Island Airport is located on Phillip Island Road, approximately 10km East of the Circuit.

Ride or Drive
If you are travelling by motorcycle or car from Melbourne, access to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is:
- via Citylink or East link tollways
- Monash Freeway
- South Gippsland Highway
- Bass Highways to Anderson
- Phillip Island Tourist Road across onto Phillip Island
From the Monash Freeway, signs will clearly identify the route to the circuit, which will include clear directional signs to the circuit parking areas.

There are three main car parks at the Phillip Island Circuit:

Lukey/Siberia Car Park
Lukey/Siberia Car Park is located on the right of Back Beach Rd as you approach the circuit; pedestrian access to the Circuit is via Gate 3.
Lukey/Siberia Car Park is in the best location for VIP patrons in Red Line Facility and Grandstand Patrons in Lukey Heights and Siberia Grandstands.
Circuit Car Park/Patton’s Car Park
The Circuit Car Park and Patton’s Car Park cover the area between Gates 1 and 7. Vehicles will be directed to park based on RETURN DESTINATION – Cowes or Melbourne.
The Car Park for Patrons with a Disability is located directly outside Gate 7 and costs are the same as the Circuit Car Park listed above. To park in this Car Park the vehicle must display a valid council issued sticker or pass. A Disability Shuttle Stop is located at this car park. Campground Patrons will be directed to their camping location:
- Highside Campground vehicles are permitted within the Highside Campground
- Trackside Campground vehicles will be directed to a car park adjacent to the campground (a 30 minute unloading period within the campground is permitted).

Credentialed vehicles will be directed to their designated parking location as displayed on your vehicle credential sticker.
Secure Motorcycle Park
The Secure Motorcycle Car Park is located in a fenced area adjacent to Gate 7. Storage of one item is included in the ticket price. Additional items can be stored for $3.50 per item.

When leaving Car Parks
Circuit Car Park
Cars will be parked upon entry by return destination. On exit, Cowes vehicles from the Circuit Car Park will be directed out of Gate 2 and turned left. Melbourne vehicles from the Circuit Car Park will be directed out Visitor Centre Drive and turned right.
Patton's Car Park
Cowes vehicles will be directed right out of Patton’s Car Park and Melbourne vehicles will be directed left.
Lukey/Siberia Car Park
All Vehicles will be directed left out of Lukey/Siberia Car Park.
Blue Line Operation
When leaving the Circuit along Phillip Island Road (east of Back Beach Road) and the Bass Highway, two Melbourne bound lanes will operate with the aid of special blue line marking. Please be aware of this blue line and keep under the speed limit.
