Considered by many to be a racing prodigy, Frenchman Fabio Quartararo got his start in motorcycle racing at the age of four, moving to Spain to develop his career and was proclaimed national champion in the 70cc, 80cc and 125cc categories.
In 2013 he won the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ championship and went on to win the same title again in 2014. The Frenchman has now been promoted to the MotoGP™ class after four years spent between Moto2™ and Moto3™. Having signed with new team Petronas Yamaha SRT, he'll be joining Franco Morbidelli, and looking for more championship success while challenging for Rookie of the Year in 2019.
Quartararo best finish in Australia came in 2018 when he finished tenth, with a new team and new competition in 2019 expect the young Frenchman to put on a show at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
