Jack Miller explains San Marino GP crash

Australia's Jack Miller experienced some of the highs and lows of MotoGP™ at the San Marino Grand Prix at the weekend.

Miller qualified second at Misano on Saturday, beaten only by Jorge Lorenzo's new lap record to take pole position.

It was Miller's best result in qualifying since he took pole position in Argentina earlier this year.

But Sunday was not as enjoyable for the Aussie, Miller crashing when he was with the leading group on Lap 3.

The Alma Pramac Racing rider remounted to finish 18th.

"It's a shame," Miller said.

"We did a good job over the weekend and the race pace was good.

"I was convinced that I could be with the leaders, but I made a mistake."

Andrea Dovizioso won the race, with Marc Marquez and Cal Crutchlow completing the podium.

MotoGP™ heads to MotorLand Aragon next for the Aragon GP on 23 September.
