Miller: It is a shame

Australia's Jack Miller records his second DNF in a row at the Catalan Grand Prix on Sunday.

Miller, who started in 13th, got as high as ninth before technical troubles hit, and the Alma Pramac rider was forced to retire.

“I managed to save the tire in order to be competitive in the second half of the race." said Miller.

"I was with Vinales and Zarco and felt confident.

"Then I had a technical problem."

Jorge Lorenzo secured his second win from two races over the weekend, with Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi taking the other two places on the podium.

Miller drops down to 10th place in the drivers championship.

"It is a shame. I could make a good result.

"I can’t wait to be in Assen”.

MotoGP™ heads to Assen next for the Dutch GP on 29-1 June-July.
