Australian Superbikes and Supersport 300 will return as support categories for the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from 25-27 October.
Both the Australian Superbikes and Supersport 300 categories give Australian riders the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of huge crowds at the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
For the Supersport 300 competitors, it provides additional opportunities for continued development of their race craft and assists progression from junior programs through to the elite Superbike class.
Having the opportunity to complete a showcase of both categories at the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019 provides these national classes with significant exposure at Australia’s largest motorcycle event.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation General Manager – Motorsport, Entertainment and Industry, Craig Fletcher, is looking forward to continuing the relationship with Australian Superbikes and Supersport 300 and ensuring fans are provided fantastic on-track offering.
“The Australian Superbikes and Supersport 300 are always such great additions to our event, complementing the international on-track activity of MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ categories,” Fletcher said.
“These national categories offer a great opportunity to showcase great Australian motorsport talent, and we’re confident this year’s line-up will make for exciting racing.”
