How do I become a Riders United member in 2019?

To become a Riders United member, you must purchase a three-day Grandstand or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket by the end of the membership campaign and you will automatically become a Riders United member.

Riders United membership has ended for 2019. Riders United membership for 2020 will be confirmed post-event.

When does Riders United go on sale for 2019?

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets for the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 209 are still available by clicking here.

When will I receive my Riders United membership ticket?

All Riders United members who selected to have their tickets delivered by post, should receive them by the end of September.

Please contact ridersunited@grandprix.com.au if you have not received your tickets by this time.

 

Where can I collect my Riders United tickets at the circuit?

If you have chosen to collect your Riders United tickets at the circuit, these will be able to be collected from Gate 2 Riders United/VIP Ticket Collection office.

  • Thursday 24 October: 8.00am-4.00pm
  • Friday 25 October: 8.00am-4.00pm
  • Saturday 26 October: 8.00am-3.00pm
  • Sunday 27 October: 8.00am-3.00pm

Please ensure you bring a valid form of ID to collect your ticket. If someone is collecting your ticket on your behalf, you must complete the Letter of Authorisation Form here and print it out to pass to your nominated person.

Since I have purchased my ticket(s), my contact details have changed. How can I update my details?

You have the ability to manage your account and update any of your details at any time. For change of address, email or phone number, you can log in to your account by clicking here and update your details accordingly.                    

Please note that any change of address needs to be emailed to ridersunited@grandprix.com.au by 31 July 2019 before Riders United tickets are distributed.

What is Save Your Seat?

All 2018 Riders United members have the opportunity to secure their seat that they had in 2018 for the 2019 event. Members will be sent an email advising them when they can purchase their seat. Members can purchase online or through the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line.

Save Your Seat has now ended for 2019.

What is Preferential Seating?

For 2018 Riders United members who did not purchase their tickets during the Save Your Seat period, they will have the opportunity to purchase new tickets in a different location, or purchase additional tickets for 2019, before the general public on-sale.

All seats that have not been purchased during the Save Your Seat period will be released to purchase for other members to buy during this period. Members can purchase online or through the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line.

Preferential Seating has ended for 2019.

Does my membership automatically roll over each year?

Riders United membership does not automatically roll over each year. To renew your membership, you must purchase a three-day or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket in the nominated period to become a member for the following year.

What and when is a Pit Lane Walk?

A Pit Lane Walk* gives you behind-the-scenes access and a unique MotoGP™ experience.

Riders United members can choose the day and time they wish to attend the Pit Lane Walk when purchasing their tickets. Pit Lane Walks are available on all three days of the event. Capacity is strictly limited on each day and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Afternoon - Pit Lane Walk #1: 12.35pm-1.00pm
  • Evening - Pit Lane Walk #2: 5.20pm-5.55pm

Saturday 

  • Afternoon - Pit Lane Walk #1: 11.50am-12.25pm
  • Evening - Pit Lane Walk #2: 4.00pm-4.30pm

Sunday 

  • Morning - Pit Lane Walk #1: 8.55am-9.30am
  • Midday - Pit Lane Walk #2: 11.05am-11.30am

After heading over the overpass to the infield, please proceed around the back of the GP Paddock and assemble at the Northern End of Pit Lane 20 minutes prior to the start time.

Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate.

What is a Gardner Straight Walk?

Riders United members have the exclusive benefit of a Gardner Straight Walk (Main Straight Walk)* to walk the holy ground where your favourite MotoGP™ riders speed past at 300 km/h on Gardner Straight. Get a chance to see where the riders will start on the grid for the main race a few hours later.

Unfortunately due to the new track schedule timings for the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019, the Gardner Straight Walk scheduled for early Sunday morning on 27 October 2019 will no longer be happening.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to bringing you more experiences and benefits in the future.

What happens if I lose my Riders United membership ticket(s)?

Contact the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line on 1800 100 030 with your purchase details and email ridersunited@grandprix.com.au. Your original tickets will be cancelled.

Depending on when the tickets have been reported missing, tickets will either be sent out to you or made available for collection on event days by prior arrangement at the Gate 2 Riders United/VIP Ticket Collection Office.

A $10 fee will be charged for the re-issuing of your tickets.

Can I upgrade my ticket from General Admission or Grandstand to Riders United?

Tickets cannot be upgraded. To become a Riders United member, you must purchase your three-day or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket during the Riders United booking period.
