Riders United 2019 FAQ
The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019 is scheduled to take place on 25-27 October 2019*.
*Based on provisional calendar released by MotoGP™ and FIM.
To become a Riders United member, you must purchase a three-day Grandstand or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket by the end of the membership campaign and you will automatically become a Riders United member.
There are several different on-sale periods for the Riders United membership program, these are:

*The Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line is open from 09:00 until 20:00 (AEDT and AEST) on Monday to Saturday and 09:00 until 17:00 on Sunday (excluding public holidays).
Tickets are also available through our travel partner, Grand Prix Travel, including ticket and accommodation packages.

All 2018 Riders United members have the opportunity to secure their seat that they had in 2018 for the 2019 event. Members will be sent an email advising them when they can purchase their seat. Members can purchase online or through the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line.
Save Your Seat has now ended for 2019.
For 2018 Riders United members who did not purchase their tickets during the Save Your Seat period, they will have the opportunity to purchase new tickets in a different location, or purchase additional tickets for 2019, before the general public on-sale.
All seats that have not been purchased during the Save Your Seat period will be released to purchase for other members to buy during this period. Members can purchase online or through the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line.
Preferential Seating is available from 17 January 2019 – TBA April 2019*.

Riders United membership does not automatically roll over each year. To renew your membership, you must purchase a three-day or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket in the nominated period to become a member for the following year.
Yes. If you are purchasing online, you can select your own seats if you are purchasing a three-day Grandstand ticket.

A Pit Lane Walk* gives you behind-the-scenes access and a unique MotoGP™ experience.
Riders United members can choose the day and time they wish to attend the Pit Lane Walk when purchasing their tickets. Pit Lane Walks are available on all three days of the event. Capacity is strictly limited on each day and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Further Pit Lane Walk information and timings will be emailed to Riders United members closer to the event. Alternatively, all details will be available online from 1 October 2019.

Riders United members have the exclusive benefit of a Gardner Straight Walk (Main Straight Walk)* to walk the holy ground where your favourite MotoGP™ riders speed past at 300 km/h on Gardner Straight. Get a chance to see where the riders will start on the grid for the main race a few hours later.
The Gardner Straight Walk is scheduled to be on early Sunday morning of event day on 27 October 2019.
Further Gardner Straight Walk information and timings will be emailed to Riders United members closer to the event. Alternatively, all details will be available online from 1 October 2019.

A payment plan is only available when purchasing a Riders United membership. You will be able to pay your tickets in three (3) separate instalments.
For members that have opted to have their tickets sent to them, tickets will be sent via Australia Post (or UPS International Courier for international members) from August 2019 onwards.
Tickets will only be sent once full payment has been received. If there is a change in expected delivery time, this will be communicated to you via email.
If you have changed your address after purchase or have not received your Riders United tickets by 31 August 2019, please email email@example.com.
You have the ability to manage your account and update any of your details at any time. For change of address, email or phone number, you can log in to your account by clicking here and update your details accordingly.
Please note that any change of address needs to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 July 2019 before Riders United tickets are distributed.
Contact the Grand Prix Ticketmaster Booking Line on 1800 100 030 with your purchase details and email email@example.com. Your original tickets will be cancelled.
Depending on when the tickets have been reported missing, tickets will either be sent out to you or made available for collection on event days by prior arrangement at the Gate 2 Riders United/VIP Ticket Collection Office.
A fee may be charged for the reissuing of tickets.
Riders United Membership is only available for three-day or Three-Corner Grandstand tickets if purchased by 11:59pm AEST on 27 May 2019. There is no opportunity to upgrade to Riders United after this date.
Grandstand tickets are only available with Adult ticket prices.
Infants less than two (2) years of age are permitted to enter Grandstands free of charge as long as they do not take up a dedicated seat.
If you require a seat for your infant you will be required to purchase a ticket for them for the seat they will occupy.
Grandstand tickets are only available with Adult ticket prices.
Tickets cannot be upgraded. To become a Riders United member, you must purchase your three-day or Three-Corner Grandstand ticket during the Riders United booking period.
