Guide

The Cape Schanck Lighthouse has served shipping since 1859 and original mechanisms are still in place. Guided tours are available and you can observe great coastal scenery from this vantage point before having lunch at Fingal Picnic Area.

If you decide against lunch in Cape Schanck, a stop off in Flinders might tempt you, with Flinders Fish & Chips and The Deck Bar & Bistro both highly recommended. Merricks General Wine Store in Hastings also wins rave reviews for fine wine, food and art.

Enhance your MotoGP™ visit by staying at Phillip Island or close by. Accommodation is available at the circuit or across the island.

Ride Highlight

The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is an annual pilgrimage for thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts every year, taking the Searoad Ferries passenger service from Queenscliff to Sorrento is not just a great way to get across the bay, but gives you the opportunity to meet some new MotoGP™ fans.
