Jack Miller talks all things MotoGP™ on new podcast

Tuesday, 21 July 2020

Dedicated to the world of Formula 1® and MotoGP™.

The Australian Grand Prix Corporation podcast In the Fast Lane has released Episode 3 presented by Nash Advisory, with special guest Australian MotoGP™ rider Jack Miller.

Miller joined In the Fast Lane co-hosts Matt Clayton and Michael Lamonato to discuss his recent fourth-place finish at Jerez and his Ducati contract for 2021.

Speaking about Marc Marquez’s dramatic crash at the weekend, after an incredible comeback from 19th to third place before he went down, Miller says it will change the whole MotoGP™ World Championship.

“It was kind of strange because Fabio (Quartararo) was a bit up the road, he’d already caught up to Maverick (Vinales), I don’t know what he was trying to prove,” Miller said.

“It’s a shame for him but it’s blown the championship right open for the rest of us.

“A lot of the top guys aren’t scoring points here in the first couple of rounds and with the season going to be as short as it is, it can play in our favour later on in the championship.”

Miller, who recently signed with the Ducati factory team for the 2021 season, discussed the recent contract negotiations and how different the process was compared to previous times.

“It was rather strange, but we’ll take it any way we can get it. Really happy to have it done already. It keeps my mind more focused on what I need to do this year. It’s an amazing opportunity I’ve got there,” Miller said.

The podcast is available on Spotify, Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts, as well as being uploaded to AGPC’s official YouTube channels.
