Joel Kelso: Claims final point on offer

The Aussie was cheerful with the final result.
CIP Green Power rider Joel Kelso has claimed the final point on offer in the first race of the Moto3™ season.
The Australian had a tough start to the weekend in Qatar but managed to secure a single point with a 15th place finish.

Kelso took to social media after the race to share his thoughts:
“It was not the easiest weekend, we struggled to get the feeling right, but we made a small step in warm-up and another in the race. However, at the end of the day, I am happy that we finished in the points!
I am now looking ahead at the goals I want to achieve this season. I am feeling positive because we have twenty more races to keep working towards them, and hopefully, this means getting some nice results on the board soon.”
Kelso’s teammate Kaito Toba finished third.
The riders will be back on track in two weeks, from 18th-20th March, for the Indonesian Grand Prix at the Mandalika Street Circuit in Lombok.
