The Aussie charged through the field.
Joel Kelso managed to bring home his first points since returning from injury in Mugello.
The Aussie Moto3™ rider had plenty of work to do after only managing P20 in qualifying, but he quickly got to work during the race and charged through the pack.

At one point he was even sitting as high as P9 with a handful of laps to go.
Eventually, he took the chequered flag with P12 and brought home four championship points.
The result was impressive given he’s still feeling the after-effects of a horrible on-track incident from a few weeks ago.
Kelso shared on social media after the race; “This was a tough weekend; we are still paying the price for missing a few races after the crash in Jerez.
“We did manage to walk away with a few points after finding some more pace in warm-up.
“Next up is Spain and we will try to come back stronger!”
Kelso will be taking to the track again this weekend in Catalunya where he can hopefully make a return to the top ten.
