The Italian was full of praise for his mate.

Jack Miller has received support from his former teammate Danilo Petrucci who says the Aussie has what it takes to succeed at KTM.

In an interview with Crash.net, the former Italian MotoGP rider was full of praise for Miller as a person and as a rider.

Petrucci endured a tough year at Tech3 KTM in 2021, but he’s hoping that Miller can avoid the same situation next year.

“Two days ago, I sent Jack a message saying that now we can also participate in the Dakar together!” Petrucci joked.

"To be in the official KTM team for two years is a much, much better opportunity.

“I am happy for him. It's no secret that I support Jack in MotoGP™.

“I'd like to see him win because he's a good guy. And I think he will do well.

"After so many years in MotoGP™, I still have a great relationship with most of the people I met in the paddock, including the people at KTM and Ducati.

“I hope KTM can do a good job for Jack over the next few years."

Miller will commence his stint at the KTM factory team next season, signing a two-year deal with the Austrian manufacturer.
