Guide

You cannot beat a country bakery and Keith Bakery is a great place to stop for a coffee and cake. The pastries and pies come highly recommended, too, and if it is breakfast you are after, the egg and bacon sandwiches are also popular.

Ready to stretch your legs? Pink Lake in Dimboola is a natural salt lake and lives up to its name! It is worth a look and once you are done, you could stop for lunch and a drink at Horsham’s Bull and Mouth Hotel.

As you get closer to the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, there is plenty to do, see and eat in Ballarat. You can go for a stroll at Lake Wendouree, visit Fika for brunch, pick up a sweet treat at Kittelty’s or pop into the Hop Temple for beer and food. Alternatively, stop in Healesville and enjoy the views at Maroondah Reservoir Park.

Enhance your MotoGP™ visit by staying at Phillip Island or close by. Accommodation is available at the circuit or across the island.

Ride Highlight

The Black Spur is a short 22km ride between Healesville and Narbethong, not only is it one of the most beautiful scenic rides in Victoria, but it is also an excellently maintained road with great surface quality. Be wary of deceptively damp tarmac and oncoming traffic, which is increased significantly through the weekend.
