Dates confirmed for 2026 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix

The countdown to MotoGP’s return to Phillip Island in 2026 has officially begun, with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) confirming the dates for next year’s Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix: 23–25 October 2026.

The announcement comes as excitement builds for the 2025 edition, now just 12 weeks away. Set to take place from 17–19 October 2025, preparations are already in full swing for what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of world-class racing, coastal views, and passionate fans.

Adding to the anticipation, four Aussie riders will be flying the flag across all three championship classes in 2025:

  • Jack Miller in MotoGP™
  • Senna Agius in Moto2™
  • Joel Kelso and Jacob Roulstone in Moto3™

With homegrown talent on the grid, local fans will have plenty to cheer about as the action unfolds on one of the most iconic circuits in the world.

If you haven’t secured your tickets for this year’s event, now’s the time! Round up your mates, plan a day out at Phillip Island, and be part of the electric atmosphere that makes the Australian round a highlight of the global motorsport calendar.

The full 2026 MotoGP™ calendar can be viewed below, and it’s shaping up to be a landmark season. Notably, we should see the return of the Brazilian Grand Prix, marking its first appearance on the calendar in some time and adding even more excitement to the global tour.
