Matt Birt: Marquez will dominate the second half of the MotoGP™ season

The official Australian Grand Prix podcast In the Fast Lane has released its latest episode, featuring TV commentator Matt Birt.
Birt joined In the Fast Lane co-host Matt Clayton and Chris Vermeulen to deliver a mid-season MotoGP™ report card, where they discuss the biggest surprises, most improved riders, who has disappointed and which rider stands out as the dux of the 2021 class after the first half of the year.
When asked his predictions for the rest of the season, Birt said Marc Marquez will be back at the front of the pack, more so than not as he continues his return to form following last year’s season-ending injury.
“Marc Marquez will take either more wins or more podiums than anybody else in the second half of the season,” said Birt.
“He’s regained the confidence, he’s regained the belief and trust in himself and more importantly he’s regained the trust in Honda,” he continued.
