Miller: I would like to stay at Ducati

Thursday, 12 May 2022

The Aussie hopes to remain with the Italian manufacturer.

After plenty of speculation about where he’ll be riding in 2023, Jack Miller has recently dropped a few hints about what lies ahead for him.

MotoGP™ posted a fascinating interview on their social media channels and Miller was clear that he’d like to remain in the Ducati’s factory team.

“At this point and time, I don't have an offer. For sure Ducati would like to keep me,” Miller said.

“I'm not out looking for money, I'm out looking for the most competitive bike so I'm able to put myself in a good position and challenge for race wins, podiums or whatever.

“I feel at home there and I would like to stay at home but whether or not they want to keep me, we will wait and see.”

Miller has been linked with Pramac Ducati in recent months. A team where he enjoyed plenty of success and podiums in the past.

It’s also a squad that can provide Miller with the latest machinery to compete towards the front.

“I love the Pramac team.

“You know, it got blown out of context a little bit what I said.

“It's not like I'm saying: 'Yes please take my seat and I will go back over there', no, not at all.

“I worked my a** off to get to this position where I am now, to be in a factory team but, at the end of the day, I love racing MotoGP™ and don't want to stop racing MotoGP™ and I want to be on a competitive package and I know that, if I go to Pramac, I would get a competitive package.

“For sure, if I wasn't able to stay in a factory team then Pramac definitely would be one of my top options.”

We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Miller and whether Ducati will decide to retain him.
