Wednesday, 13 May 2026

It's shaping up to be one for the history books.

The roar of MotoGP™ is set to echo across Phillip Island one last time, with tickets for the MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Australia 2026 on sale from Tuesday, 26 May.

This event will mark the 30th MotoGP race at Phillip Island and will be a fitting tribute to farewell more than three decades of unforgettable races, iconic champions and memories that have helped define Australian motorsport. It’s a milestone

To give everyone the chance to celebrate these moments and soak up the atmosphere that has kept fans coming back for decades, all ticket prices will be frozen for 2026. Tickets will start at $50 with no increase from 2025 pricing across Island Passes (GA), grandstands, hospitality, campgrounds, parking and Catch-a-Coach.

We’ve already seen a highly competitive start to the season, as 1000cc bikes take to the track for their final year before new regulations are introduced. With Australian favourite Jack Miller igniting the home-crowd energy and Phillip Island’s famed late-season drama, there’s no better place to see the championship battle come down to the final wire.

The weekend will also shine a spotlight on Australia’s rising stars, with Moto2™ contender Senna Agius – who has impressed the likes of Valentino Rossi with his extremely competitive results so far, and emerging Moto3™ talent Joel Kelso set to take on the world’s best riders as they eagerly chase a podium finish in front of their home crowd.

Beyond the spectacle of MotoGP, fans will be treated to a packed schedule of on-track action, including a points scoring round for the 2026 Penrite ASBK Championship, showcasing Australia’s most fierce Superbike riders battling it out.

Tickets will be on sale from 12pm AEST, Tuesday 26 May, including Island Pass (general admission), grandstand, hospitality and campgrounds.

While every MotoGP at Phillip Island is memorable, 2026 is shaping up to be one for the history books as we farewell and celebrate an unbelievable era of MotoGP racing at one of the most spectacular circuits and regions on the calendar.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO Travis Auld said freezing ticket prices was about making sure fans could be part of a pivotal moment in MotoGP™ history at a venue that holds deep meaning for the sport.

“We know how much Phillip Island means to motorsport fans, and this will be a truly special year,” Auld said. “For many, attending MotoGP™ at Phillip Island has become a tradition. Whether racing, volunteering, being part of the event or simply enjoying the action, this final return to one of the world’s greatest racing destinations will be even more meaningful.”

“Freezing ticket prices means more fans can get to enjoy this historic moment for MotoGP™.”
