MotoGP™ returns to Germany after a year away.

The MotoGP™ season continues with the 2021 German MotoGP™ race at the Sachsenring race circuit this weekend.

Here is everything you need to know, including the start time and race info, for the 2021 Grand Prix of Germany.

The eighth race of the 2021 MotoGP™ season takes place on Sunday 20 June.

Practice begins on Friday 18 June with FP1 and FP2, followed by FP3, FP4, and qualifying on Saturday 19 June.

What time does the German GP start?

The 2021 German GP starts at 2:00 pm local time on Sunday 20 June, which is 10:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday 20 June.

  • Practice 1: Friday 5:55pm-6:40pm AEST
  • Practice 2: Friday 10:10pm-10:55pm AEST

Where is the German GP held and how many laps is it?

The race takes place at the Sachsenring race circuit in Germany.

MotoGP™ riders will race 30 laps covering a total distance of 110.1 kilometres.

All live MotoGP™, Moto2™, Moto3™ and MotoE™ television coverage in Australia is on Fox Sports, which is available via Foxtel.

Live streaming is also available for compatible devices, in HD and on-demand, through Kayo Sports.
