Jack Miller’s race at Mugello quickly turned sour with the Aussie only being able to manage P15.
The famous Italian circuit has never been a happy hunting ground for Miller and his bad luck continued over the weekend.

It all came unstuck when he was forced onto the grass heading into the first corner.
As a result, he was pushed all the way back from 12th on the grid to the back in 22nd.
At least he managed to salvage one championship point as he took the chequered flag.
"Starting so far back definitely didn't help,” Miller commented after the race.
“After the start, I got trapped in the group and went on the grass at the first corner, finishing 22nd.
“From there, it was a comeback race. I managed to pass a few riders, although I struggled a lot to overtake.
“Then once I got behind Alex Marquez, I could never get close enough to attack him again. That's how it went today, but luckily, we'll have another race soon to try to bounce back!"
Miller’s teammate Pecco Bagnaia secured the race victory for Ducati on home soil.
Luckily, the Queenslander won’t have to wait long to redeem himself with another MotoGP™ race in Catalunya coming up this weekend.
Hopefully, he can back up his result from last year with another podium.
